Father, we come to you with broken hearts. We know that people on both sides of this situation are hurting.
We pray that you give us wisdom, honesty, and kindness with our words and intentions.
Help all parties to act with integrity, honoring past promises.
Help us to forgive the many years we've been hurt in this situation so that we can come to a mutually agreeable resolution. Help us to not harbor resentment over the words or actions of one another, and please help us to act and communicate in a way that doesn't need to be forgiven in the future.
We know that you have called us to wage peace. We pray that you grow us to be pillars of peace, even in the most hurt-filled circumstances.
